第五届下乡团

下乡已经过了半个月了,但是脑海中还是会常常浮现大家在一起的快乐日子,这种感觉真的是无价之宝,任何回忆都无法取代这种感觉。当自己看回这些照片时,自 己还会傻傻的对着电脑发笑,脑海中还在不停的回忆起所有的片段。
还记得一开始时,大家都互相不认识,第一次的GM只有一半的人出席,加上自己办的 不好,心中有点小小的难过,当时为自己下个一个很大的目标就是要打第五届做得最好,让我们的感情越变越好!
谢谢下乡团的执委们和第四届的几位团员 们替我们弄了个这么棒的Bonding camp,让我们的感情瞬间跃升了一大步,大家都互相扶持互相照顾自己的组员,尤其是看见大家手牵手过着所有的障碍时,心中超感动的。那时是我第一次见到 所有的团员也是第一次和所有人交谈,虽然还不熟但是大家总是能天南地北的聊个不停。
其实啊,我真的很享受每次与大家在一起的开会时间,不论是与团 康组执委会议还是全体会议,尽管我们常常面对一大堆的问题,但是见到大家一起玩一起笑,这种感觉真的很好。还有每个月的庆生,一开始总是会想一些特别的方 式帮大家庆祝,让每个月的寿星留下一个美好的回忆。还有专属我们的bonding day,大家一起在海边玩,一起被太阳烤成烧猪,一起BBQ,一起寻宝...一直到下乡前大家一起做材料,每天都做到九点十点多才离开学校,虽然很疲惫但 是我们的感情却因此而增加了许多,当我们看见自己的成果时所有的疲累都已经换成了满满的成就感,这一切一切都是无法取代的回忆~
下乡期间大家也越 来越熟悉彼此,我们合作的默契及团结精神发挥得淋漓尽致,而且把每一天的活动都越办越好。尤其是我们的手语,已经变成了团员们之间的默契指标,大家一切一 切都配合的很好很好。依然记得在闭幕典礼上,所有团员在我面前跳起《青春纪念册》这只手语时,心里好难过,难过自己不能和他们一起跳,难过大家的感情竟然 在最要好的那一刻却面对分离。
这一路走来能算得上是风风雨雨吧,从找一个合适的新村,活动计划书,人事安排,business dept考试期,宣传期等等等等的问题,让我们才更懂得珍惜,这样的回忆才是最珍贵的!来到三巴央真的是一种难得可贵的缘分,不仅仅让我们有了新家庭,得 到了义父母的疼爱,拥有可爱的义弟妹们,和佛教会青年团结交了新的友情;我们和他们一起成长一起学习,得到了认识了很多很多不同的事物,让我们学会了珍惜 身边的一切!我真的很庆幸自己是下乡人,才能拥有如此美好和难以磨灭的回忆!!第五届下乡团团员们你们真的很棒,你们是我最引以为傲的好朋友!!

浮罗交怡教育振兴计划

引言∶-

《大专生下乡服务计划》是最能直接改变乡区学生及父母的思想与行为、提升教育水平的系列辅导活动。基于上述计划有助于达至《浮罗交怡教育振兴计划》之崇高目标,所以通过《浮罗交怡教育振兴计划》积极推广此项活动,并鼓励大专生参与这民族的行动纲领,同时经过各方面累积经验的分享,才能落实族群最终的大目标。

宗旨:-

1。提升父母及年青一代关注教育的重要性。

2。提高乡区阅读风气及培养好学精神。

3。引导青少年参与社会的建设工作。

4。塑造感恩的社会。

大专生应有的任务

任务说明:

《大专生下乡服务计划》是最直接改变乡区学生和父母的思想与行为,提升教育水平,以便激发通过共同的力量,快速发展乡区教育的事业,必须使到乡区的人民都具备高度的基础学识。

通过下乡服务工作的制度化,可确定补充正规教育不足,从而让人民深入了解关心教育的重点及家庭教育的重要性。同时关注青少年心智的发展及发掘本身的强点与优势。

大专生长期传达有关教育最新科技发展的资讯来源。开拓视野,确保人人学以致用,发挥在日常生活中及未来的发展空间。

筹备工作流程

筹办各单位需要考虑活动各种事项,例如决定目标为训练或娱乐、对象和人数、时间和地点、活动经费的预算。这些都是首要讨论的重点。事前筹备须准备一份活动策划书、财政预算案、招募和临选团员、讲述活动概念、物色下乡地点、团员培训课程等。

第一次筹备会:成立筹委会、经费预算、分工合作如准备简章和表格、宣传、商家赞助、活动设计、接洽交通等。下乡考察队须接洽下乡地点和拜访、随时准备与村委会汇报及呈报一份活动报告书。

第二次筹备会:工作报告、协调进度、讨论活动设计、编印手册和证书、采购文具。

第三次筹备会:事前总协调、活动模拟(沙盘演练)、装备检查、确定团员和学生人数,活动期间需购买集体意外保险。

下乡工作正在进行中须确保安全,所拟定的活动及任务都需顺利的完成,包括善后工作及器材归位等。

下乡服务完毕后,尽快订期召开检讨会,以便商讨整理一份检讨报告书、感谢各单位及商家、整理账目交于华仁教育基金、资料整理归档、领养分析报告书、拟定延续活动及推广青少年社区学习会的组织成长

社区关怀 aka Project C

Preface

Designed based on the concept in delivering a more effectual outcome, the project C was aimed to benefit both the members and communities in several aspect of development. Hopefully, the project will provide a platform for the member’s of Community Outreach Society to formulate a meaningful project and to continually serving our community. On the other hand, the program would hopefully enrich the living of our community.

The approach of the Project was almost similar to the Club’s main program (Xia Xiang) accept it is a simplified version. For current, the provisional period for this project would last for 1 year (20110) with approximate at least 12 visiting in total. Preferably, every visiting will took a maximum of 2 days and minimum of half day time in program location.

The visiting would include numerous activities designed by the team itself. Written below describe some preview of the objectives:

  • To enhance self belongingness and understanding toward own cultures, norms and customs.
  • To promote a healthier lifestyle ; minimizing the risk of juvenile activity
  • To promote a stronger patriotism and understanding toward nation
  • To unleash the potential of one’s ability and self understanding
  • To promote a global context of issues ; global warming
  • To cultivate the spirit of 1Malaysia

Activities

Up to date, all the activities will based on three direction, 1) Own Creativity 2) Global Issues 3) Government initiatives. The activities shall be disclosed further in depth during our meeting.

1) Own Creativity – Activities that you think was genuine and useful for our targets

2) Global Issues – Several critical issues that involve our mother earth and require the public acknowledgement.

3) Government Initiatives – Strive for issues as such, cultural integration, rempit, smoking, juvenile and education enhancement.

Frequent Asked Question (FAQ)

1. What do I need to do if I were to join the project?

Depend on your commitment and the availability of the position. In which you could choose to be the facilitator, committee, or even preparation crew. The list of the position available shall be disclosed upon request or announce during meet up session.

2. Can I know more about the timing of the project? What is the exact date?

The exact date of the project would be mostly relied on several aspects, school request, and the availability of crews attending, the majority schedule and holidays. It could be during, weekend or even weekdays.

3. Who should/can join the project?

For current period, the priority would be placed on the members of HELP Community Outreach Society members. However, the door is always open to everyone from small to big, u name it but with one condition. You are serious or passionate in it.

4. Do I need to pay for it?

Up to current date, the commission board is still searching for financial aid in supporting the project. Or else, the visiting might be supported by the school parties. All I could have say was, let just pray for good news or else those involved might need to put up extra efforts. If everything were as planned, all the expenses will be fully covered.

第四屆下鄉團-下鄉成功!!!

精英大學第四屆下鄉團之精英^^

本屆31位團員,分別為12位男生及19位女生, 予2009824日至2009年8月30日, 前往彭亨州武吉丁宜新村進行七天的下鄉服務。此次的主題為《從心出發》。很慶幸的,本團在第二次考察期間,順利尋找23戶領養家庭,其中7戶家庭共領養2名團員。

第一天的開幕典禮,不枉大家所望,比多次的彩排來得順利。第二天的家庭日,相信各團員輿領養家庭建立了更好的關係。第三天的一日營,讓我們見識到了該村中學生的熱情。第四天的資源回收及性教育講座,讓我們看到了村民對我們的支持。第五天的輔導日,我們感覺到了大家的感性,我們對彼此更了解。第六天的歌唱比賽,閉幕典禮,中秋晚會和國慶,我們瘋瘋癲癲地輿村民渡過了美好的一天。就在這一天,不捨的感覺更深了。最後一天的親子講座,教育展及分享會,終結了這7天的下鄉服務。我們要回家了。。心情在那刻,是如此複雜。然而,我們還是依依不捨地離開了。

離別,不代表結束。精英大學第四屆下鄉團予2009年8月24日輿武吉丁宜新村結緣,我們的緣份永不結束。

感謝所有支持我們的人!!沒有你們的支持,我們沒辦法完成使命。你們的支持是永遠都是我們的動力。謝謝!!我們愛你們!!!

Team Building Camp 2009

Dear 4th batch members,

In order to shape a closer team relationship among members, the Community Outreach Service (COS) is going to organize a Team Building Camp before going to the village. This camp is for all members who are going to village. Attendance is compulsory. If anyone of you unable to attend this camp, without any appropriate reason, you will not be allowed to join and go to the village. Please take it seriously! 

You will need to inform your group leader whether you are going to the Team Building Camp or not going. If you are unable to attend the camp, please provide an appropriate reason.  

Below is the detail of the Team Building Camp:
1.    Date: 24th July 2009 to 26th July 2009
2.    Venue: Hutan Rekreasi Ayer Keroh, Malacca 
3.    Transport: Bus
4.    Fee: RM100
5.    Assemble venue: Lower Foyer, HELP Main Block
6.    Departure time: 7.00a.m. (24th July 2009) – Be punctual!!
7.    Return time: 1.00p.m. (26th July 2009)

Members, you are reminded to bring long pants (at least 2 as you will need to wear it often), t-shirt (darker color will be preferred), torchlight, medicine (if you need it), etc. You will need to bring a small present (maximum RM5). 

I have sent the camp application form and consent letter to all 4th batch COS member. Check your mail. Please download, print and fill up the information. Then, pass these two forms with the fee RM100, a passport-size photo and a IC photocopy (A4 size, front and back side of the IC) to your group leader by 15th July 2009. Please write your name and student ID behind the photo and IC photocopy.

Training from MCA

Hello, members,
I am here to inform all of you that there will be a training from MCA, Mr. Chong Yeen Foo (Langkawi Project Northern Zone Head Coordinator) on the coming Saturday.
This training is for all members who are going to village. So for those who are not able to attend this training, without any appropriate reason, base on the rules of COS, they will not allow to go any villages. Please take it seriously. Thanks.

Tzu Chi Collegiate Youth Welcoming Night


Dear members,

Please be notice that our respective club " Community Outreach Society " and "Taiwan Buddhist Tzu-Chi Foundation Malaysia" were currently organizing a
Tzu Chi Collegiate Youth Welcoming Night at HELP Residence Hall ( level 1) on this coming Thursday. With the theme of "Blossoming The Young Love" , this event was objectively assigned to promote a compassionate and a sense of gratitute toward our community. A little bit disclosure of the night programmes are include a brief introduction of Tzu Chi foundation, real-life video sharing, group sharing and lots more waiting to be known. Details:

As some should had known about the prominent organization of Tzu Chi, they have been actively involved in numerous charity activities ranged from recycling campaign to all types of charity services.Even Tzu Chi Volunteers have left their footprints in many far away lands, risking their lives in epidemics and wars. Some of the remarkable events was supplying an international relief efforts in typhoon-stricken Bangladesh, Acheh (Tsunami), New Orlean (Katrina) and lots more.

In facts, its a very rare opportunities and i would recommend that every members of community outreach society to participate in it. And the good thing is, it was all FREE. Free entrance, Refreshment prepared and some door gift were to be given out. Those who are interested can you please sent in 1) your name 2) Contact 3) Email 4) language prefer Eng or Chi.
